Chronology of cameras Vivitar

n early 1992, at the Las Vegas PMA, Vivitar made a splash by presenting a multitude of various cameras, lenses, binoculars, and accessories.
Among these, the 440 PZ and 470 PZ (PZ for Power Zoom) are almost twin brothers. The difference between them is that the 440 PZ does not have red-eye reduction.

Both models share the same other technical features. Among these, the flash includes a museum mode (Flash OFF!), an automatic mode (activates by itself depending on the context), and a fill-in mode.
The autofocus has a "landscape" mode that allows for locking at infinity.
